Honeybees News November 2016

Welcome to another edition of Our Newsletter. Firstly I would like to welcome all our new bubs who joined the Honeybees room in the last couple of months. Children have made friends are are beginning to and interact with each other and build  relationships. Children are enjoying participating in various shared play experiences. Children are well engaged in the indoor and outdoor environments and our home corner. The indoor sand pit has been the favourites among all the children. Children are pretend playing and role-modelling feeding the dolls in high chair or rocking the cot to put them to sleep. Children are putting lot of effort and strength into  reaching their milestones

Our sustainability program is successfully running and parents and children are working together in their homes with lots of new innovative measures and techniques on gardening and providing that information to share with the other children in the room. This time of the year is been busy with children involving in Diwali Celebrations, Book Week, Recycling week,  PJ Day, Dress-ups,  and Art and sensory experiences

At group time we are reading assorted books on Alphabets, colours, shapes and expressing emotions through rhymes and movements. Most of our children are recognising their body parts and are beginning to develop their self help skills  by reaching the tray to get their drink bottles and using face washers to wipe after meal times. Children have shown eagerness and curiosity and wait for Ryan to sing and play music during Hey-De-Ho. They are following instructions and are very happy to get a stamp after the session.

We would like to say a big Thank-you to all the parents who bought the family photos for our family tree.
If you have any questions or concerns about the room or your child please feel free to speak to the room staff.
