3 Year Old Kindergarten program

Kool Kidz Brighton will be offering a 3 Year Old Kindergarten program as part of the Victorian Government’s 3 Year Old Kinder initiative.

The 3-Year-Old Kinder program is the first-of-its-kind in early childhood care and education. Apart from developing problem-solving and academic skills, an extra year of indoor and outdoor play-based learning helps young children learn to resolve conflict while also improving their social and emotional intelligence.

Children also enjoy a diverse range of incursion activities – ideal learning environment including Jumparoo – A combination of Sports, Fitness, Music and Dance all in one educational program. By engaging children’s motor skills, cognitive development, natural curiosity, creativity and overall wellbeing, children learn and develop while most importantly having fun!

Each week the instructors Little Sports Heroes provide a fitness program teaching children ball skills through a variety of different sports. Our music program delivered by Hey Dee Ho offers an opportunity for children to participate in sing, dance and active play.

In our childcare centre, we have vegetable gardens in both yards that the children work on – they have planted the vegetables and herbs in the garden beds, and maintain them by watering them daily, as well as looking after our worm farms which are a part of our commitment to sustainability. This hands-on approach to nature delights the kids as they literally see the fruits of their efforts.

Every day, our chef prepares healthy meals and snacks (while catering for special dietary needs, of course!) in our onsite kitchen, using healthy ingredients, including some grown in our very own veggie garden!

On-site Doctor

Every Wednesday, parents are able to book an appointment for their child with Dr Chan, who is an Australian based GP. Dr Chan is able to provide medical and health check-ups, prescription of medication and immunisation at the service and also offers bulk billing. This service is exclusive to Kool Kidz Brighton and offers parents peace of mind if they have any health concerns for their child.

Kool Kidz Cafe

From time to time, we invite parents to our on-site Kool Kidz Café to enjoy a barista brewed coffee, tea or hot chocolate. It’s also a great opportunity for you to meet and speak to our educators and other parents.
