What Parents Are Saying About Kool Kidz Greenvale
Kool Kidz Greenvale has definitely exceeded our expectations. We decided to enroll our son into the ladybug room at 15 months old and it was the best decision we have made. From the first day we arrived, we felt welcomed and right at home. Jo, Chantelle, Chris, Charon, Melad and all the staff are wonderful! Our son loves going to childcare every day and I can’t thank you enough. The centre is extremely clean and smells fresh which is rare of a busy childcare! We love saying hello and goodbye to the birds, fish & reptiles each day at reception–...

We have been at Kool Kidz Greenvale the past 3 years and have had an amazing experience with the centre. Their staff are very friendly and they definitely go above and beyond to engage the kids and families in educational and enriching activities (e.g. sports classes, music, excursions, animal experiences, information nights etc). Staff have excellent communication to families either through face to face or via their app. We all felt very comfortable at the centre, and will really miss it when my son finishes his kinder year. The kinder graduation was truly amazing and we can see how much...

I’ve always struggled with my son attending childcare who is now 3 years old. He has attachment issues and makes it super hard for me to drop him off and leave. Jo who is the main manager of the centre has been extremely understanding with both myself and my son situation. She has supported us and gone above and beyond to make him comfortable and cater to his needs. If it wasn’t for her I have given up on childcare all together.
This is a very well run childcare and kinder with dedicated and experienced staff. The well thought out group activities and tasks has helped my son develop confidence and better social skills.
There is always a prompt response to emails and a lot of good information and pictures of events on the Kool kidz app and some great feedback.
The recent graduation ceremony and then party at the play centre was also very nicely organised reflecting the efforts of the staff there. Would recommend this childcare centre without reservation.
We will miss you KoolKidz!

ACECQA (Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority) The National Quality Framework is Australia’s system for regulating early learning and school-age care, including legislation and national quality standards, sector profiles and data, and learning framework.
Cognitive development in early learning is best defined as how children think, explore and work things out. It is the development of knowledge, skills, problem solving and dispositions, which help children to think about and understand the world around them. Our team uses play to help the children learn new skills as this is a technique shown to work well with young children.
This is processed through Centrelink – you can apply online or over the phone.
The Child Care Subsidy (CCS) works on a sliding scale system, meaning that the more income your household generates, the less help you will receive from the CCS. Conversely, the less income that your household generates, the more benefits you are entitled to from the CCS. Contact your Kool Kidz service manager/ operator to determine how much of your child’s fees will be covered by CCS.
Many factors determine this. There is the general age used as the standard benchmark, but other factors, including the child’s emotional and intellectual development, should always be considered.
There are many ways to help develop communications skills. If you’re worried about your child’s development, a chat with your educator is a great start. We would also encourage any worried parent to consult with their chosen medical professions (GPO/Paediatrician etc.)
Reading and chatting with your child is a great way to foster learning of language and comprehension. Playing games focused on language use is also a fun way to grow these skills.
There are so many ways to research and many factors to consider when choosing. Using online platforms such as Toddle or Care for Kids can be a great place to start. Asking other parents about their experiences is also a great choice. We always recommend going into the centre, meeting the staff and doing a tour as an essential step in deciding.
We are an equal opportunity employer, meaning we encourage educators of all ages, gender and ethnicities to be part of our team. We use incursion days as a chance to educate our children about different cultures and continually foster an attitude of respect and kindness for all in our centres.
Our centre foster learning through play which means the children are kept active every day. We also have outdoor play ears in every centre, ensuring that our kids have a chance to run and play every day.
We encourage our kids to bond with their educators and their playmates, so they feel like our centre is an extension of their home every day.
Play-based learning offers children a fun way to discover their interests, abilities and limitations. It encourages imagination, investigation and exploration. It also provides them with a way to learn about social interactions and boundaries safely and in a fun way. By linking learning to play, we are helping foster a life long love of learning through positive associations.
Sports
This morning the children in Beetlebugs room participated in a fun sport session with coach Jordan. To begin the session and get our bodies moving we danced to some songs. Afterwards the children practiced running with the football in the hands and then practiced kicking the football. The children also had fun shaking the parachute up and down with their friends. To end the session the children had some bean bags and small balls and ran around the coach who was pretending to be a crocodile and then threw the bean bags and balls into the goal. The children had a wonderful time participating in the sport session today. ... See MoreSee Less

Concepts of science
Children were engaged in scientific concepts like cause and effect with nature ice i.e. leaves and flowers frozen ice.Children loved it, they explore the textures, learned about techniques to melt the ice with salt and water, it gave opportunities to children to enhance their cognitive and problem solving skills, as some were rubbing the salt over ice, some were putting water over it, however some were trying to break it with plastic toys, children were also engaged in conversations about the different temperatures as the ice was cold, but once it melts, after some time, it’s temperature was changed. Children were also in a game about learning about speed and time. Children were engaged in catching the ball through a cardboard pipe, strength children’s understanding about, motion, time and speed. Some children learned about cause and effect through drawing experiences, where they engage in learning about the movement of colour in one direction, the effect in the form of the colour scribble. ...
