From the 30th of March to the 2nd of April, the service celebrated Easter in all rooms.
On Tuesday children were making Easter bonnets and continuing their Easter activities within the room. Children did painting with brushes and their fingers, different pasting’s and drawing with markers.
On Wednesday all the children participated in a bonnet parade in the Kinder yard, while dancing along to The Wiggles. It was great to see all the children wearing their bonnets and how much fun they had showing them off to all their peers.
On Thursday, Rosie from Beetlebugs brought in some baby chickens for all the children to come and visit. They were set up in Beetlebugs yard in a small fenced area. All the children had the opportunity to go look, touch and hold the chickens. Most children did really well and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Julie our cook, cooked the children a beautiful fish and chip dish for lunch and prepared them yummy hot cross buns for afternoon tea.
