Kinder One Easter celebrations were phenomenal! On top of their usual routines, the children celebrated Easter in a variety of ways. We discussed what Easter was about and saw how other people celebrate Easter by watching a video.
Then the children crafted and drew in preparation for the day, making their own Easter eggs and decorating them with shiny sequins and colourful stickers of all shapes and sizes. They decorated their own baskets to hold all the Easter eggs they find in preparation for the egg hunt! Also, they made some rainbow frozen bunnies that they watched fizz and melt together.
On the day of celebrations, the children were delighted to have the Easter bunny come to visit! They gave him big hugs, sat on his lap and took photos with him. They were ecstatic at the opportunity to eat special treats during their lunches, including chicken nuggets, chips and ice cream! Next they also drew their experiences of Easter before going outside to search for the egg hunt.
They were ecstatic to go on the Easter egg hunt, searching high and low for the eggs of all colours and putting them into their baskets. They counted the eggs they found and noted their different colours. They had such immense fun and it was a memorable experience for all.
