In the Butterflies room we have implemented a fruit basket for the children to access at all stages during the day. During the day if the children are feeling hungry they have the opportunity to grab a piece of fruit and sit down at one of the tables to enjoy it. With the help of an Educator the children will then cut the fruit and enjoy the snack.
We are looking forward to implementing this with the children and we really hope it works well.
The fruit basket gives the children the opportunity to be independent and have the choice to have a snack whenever they please throughout the day.
