All I want for Christmas is…
In preparation for Christmas the children have been involved in a wide variety of Christmas experiences. They have decorated a bag to take all their work home in, they have identified numbers using Christmas ornaments, they made photo frames, tree ornaments, they wrote a letter to Santa and their latest creation was our ‘All I want for Christmas’ wall.
During one of our morning group times the children were asked individually what they would like for Christmas. The children were all deep in thought and they really took their time in answering the question.
We used the children’s responses and stuck them underneath a Christmas photo of themselves. The wall display is located outside our room for all the parents and children to see when they arrive.
