Start your child’s learning journey with Free Kinder at Kool Kidz in 2026!
Kool Kidz is proud to offer Free Kinder as part of our long day care program. This means families receive an annual fee offset (up to $2,101) when enrolled in our government-funded 3 or 4-year-old kindergarten programs.
Our programs are:
- Delivered by a Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registered and qualified Early Childhood Teacher
- Play based learning approach and based off the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework and Kool Beginnings Curriculum
- Advantages of an approved Kindergarten program with the flexibility of a long daycare
- Open from 6:30am to 6:30pm, Monday to Friday, 52 weeks a year (excluding public holidays)
- 5 nutritious meals served daily and made fresh by our qualified in-house chef
- Ideal for families needing flexibility and peace of mind while working full time
Who is eligible?
All Victorian children enrolled in funded 3 or 4-year-old kindergarten are eligible – even if you don’t receive Child Care Subsidy (CCS). To ensure that you receive the Kinder offset at Kool Kidz, you will need to sign the “One Funded Place Declaration” form. You can only claim a funded Kinder program at one (1) service.
What is Pre-Prep?
In 2026, 4-year-old Kindergarten is transitioning to Pre-Prep, offering more hours (up to 30 per week) of early learning before school.
