Kool Kidz is coming to Cranbourne North in 2026
Kool Kidz Childcare Cranbourne North will be an early learning, Kindergarten and childcare service located on the corner of Thompsons Rd and Rapello Way, nestled among beautiful big trees with a spacious wrap-around yard for children to explore. Inside our architecturally designed, single-storey classrooms filled with natural light, your child will discover an extensive selection of entertaining and educational books and toys, supporting their growth from babies through to Kindergarten.

About our centre
Opening in 2026, Kool Kidz Childcare Cranbourne North will provide a dynamic and nurturing environment for children from six weeks to six years old. Designed as a single-storey centre with light-filled rooms that flow into a wrap-around outdoor yard shaded by beautiful mature trees, the playground features a large sandpit, cubby house, dedicated pretend play shopfront, music wall, sensory path, bike track, slides and a vegetable garden for hands-on learning. Conveniently located directly across from Springhill Shopping Centre, with Coles, a chemist, café, and other stores just steps away, our Kool Kidz Cranbourne North service blends modern facilities with a welcoming community feel, making drop-off and pick-up easier for busy families.
Kool Beginnings Curriculum (KBC) is our child-focused, play-based, comprehensive curriculum. Built on the Australian Early Years Learning Framework, we aim to ensure that all children are supported to grow and learn through an educational program that is tailored to their individual goals and needs. We ensure families, educators, and visitors feel a sense of belonging, safety, and security to be who they are and supported to become all they can be.
Our light-filled, age-appropriate childcare centre offers an extensive selection of educational and engaging books and toys for all our curious age levels.
Our kindergarten program is delivered by Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registered qualified Early Childhood Teachers and qualified Educators, we offer a higher than required educator-to-child ratio to provide more individual attention and consistency of care for your child.

At Kool Kidz Cranbourne North, our vision is to create a nurturing environment where every child feels safe, valued, and inspired to explore their potential. Our Approved Provider, May Yang, brings this vision to life through her passion for education, leadership and a genuine love for helping children grow.
May’s journey into early childhood education is shaped by both her professional background and her personal experience as a mother and a lifelong learner. With over a decade of experience as both a Head Teacher and Acting Deputy Principal at one of New South Wales’ leading public schools, she has guided large teams, developed high-impact learning programs and built inclusive environments where children thrive both academically and emotionally.
Both her dedication and achievements have been recognised through her leadership in guiding her school to achieve “Excelling” in all 14 elements of the NSW School Excellence Framework in 2024. She led her school to win the Secretary’s Award for Schools for outstanding literacy improvement and developing innovative bilingual and arts-based programs that bring learning to life through imagination and creativity.
As both an educator and a parent, May understands the trust that families place in their childcare providers. Her approach is built on empathy, collaboration, and open communication, ensuring every family feels welcomed, supported, and confident in their child’s learning journey.
For May, along with her husband and co-owner Harris Liao, opening Kool Kidz Cranbourne North is about more than establishing a childcare and a kindergarten. It is about creating a warm and welcoming community where children feel confident, capable, and cared for each day.
May’s vision for Kool Kidz Cranbourne North is to provide high-quality, play-based education that develops curiosity, creativity, and confidence, giving every child the best possible start in life. She leads with both integrity and a genuine commitment to helping every child flourish, ensuring that each day at Kool Kidz Cranbourne North is filled with discovery, joy, and a lifelong love of learning.
Our childcare & kinder programs
Infants
0-1 years
To nurture your infant’s growing mind and body, our qualified educators create healthy, caring relationships with you and your child. Our rooms are filled with toys and equipment for early, play-based fun and learning to support your infant’s physical, intellectual, emotional, and social development. They also include separate cot rooms where your baby can safely sleep according to their routine in their own cot.
Our infant curriculum fosters early sensory exploration, motor skill development, and social-emotional growth through sensory play, tummy time, and interactive games.
Toddlers
1-2 years
From learning how to solve problems—to discovering books, stories, and words and creatively expressing themselves through activities like painting, singing, and dancing—experience the joy as your child becomes more independent, adventurous, and confident during these wonderful years.
We recognise your toddler’s individuality and increasing sense of independence. Our educators take time to work with your toddler to encourage their understanding of their developing emotions. Immersed in our language-rich environment, your toddler learns words and sentences by singing songs, telling stories and engaging in conversations.
Kindergarten
3-6 years
Not only do we offer an action-packed, immersive and engaging curriculum, but free kindergarten is available at Kool Kidz. Our 15-hour per week program for four-year-olds and 5-to-15-hour program for three-year-olds saves you $2,101 per child.
Our teachers follow our Kool Beginnings Curriculum, which implements the Victorian Early Years and Development Framework (VEYLDF). In our purpose-designed rooms, your child learns and develops the skills they need to be ready for school—and life.
