Term 1 has come to a close and has brought the school holidays to us. The weather has turned colder and we have been lucky that there have not been too many wet days, so we can still go outside and enjoy the fresh air.
It has been a busy time for Kool Kidz in Term 2, we have celebrated ANZAC Day, had a great Mother’s Day Afternoon Tea with Antonella’s amazing scones and celebrated Asthma Awareness with Pyjama Day.
The Kinder Information Evening was a huge success with approximately 30 families represented. Gaby and Winnie spoke about the Kinder programs and how they aligned to school readiness.
NAIDOC Week has seen many of the rooms celebrating the cultures and traditions of the Indigenous Peoples of Australia. The Yarn Sisters came to visit the Kinder Rooms and shared traditional song, dance and stories.
We are looking forward to Term 3 and all the families returning from school holidays and welcome the new families that are starting their Kool Kidz journey.
