On Saturday, the 18th of November we held our annual Christmas party. We choose to hold our Christmas event at Forsyth Park in Truganina. We had various activities for the children such as buckets and spades for the sandpit, lawn bowels, and jumping balls. As well as the wonderful park, bike track, basketball court and sandpit.
The children were very excited to see our friend Karen, from Enchanted Brush who made the children into unicorns, tigers and superheros. The children eagerly sat as Karen painted their faces creating works of art. We also had Pete the Pirate who was making all sorts of balloon creations including unicorn swords, flying fishes and love heart flower arrangements.
Smiley, from Hey-Dee-Ho joined us for a 45 minutes session where the children joined in on Christmas story time, finger puppet time and dancing and movement activities.
We did a picnic style event were everyone brought a platter to share. It was amazing. Everyone was chatting, laughing and having a great time.
We also had a special visit from Santa and his elf, who handed out books to all the children that attended. Frankie our rabbit and Chewy our puppy also joined us, the children were so excited to see them they spent the whole day making sure they had everything the needed.
To all the families and Educators that attended,thank-you so much for your continued support.A big thanks also to Jemma Redmond who was able to help us out organising the event. And Selena for helping us set-up and making sure the day went smoothly.
