On Sunday the 23rd of October Kool Kidz Child care Tarneit had the privilege of being able to participate in the annual Children’s week picnic. We had a stall where children were able to paint plaster moulds, which were made by our lovely kinder room staff and children. Children were able to make a bracelet to take home using pipe cleaners and various materials such as cut up straws, buttons and beads. We had a playdough table with various colours and textures that the children and educators had made with various materials and objects to manipulate and mould. We also had a mat with water shakers that was out for the younger children to explore.
The day was a huge success with over 300 families visiting the event watching live performances throughout the day and visiting stalls.
The children who came to our tent were able to enjoy yummy apples and take a playdough pouch home with instructions on how to make playdough at home.
We would like to thank Jemma Redmond for allowing us the opportunity to be a part of a community event that was fantastic. Thanks to all the families and educators who were able to attend and enjoy the day.
