Beetlebug News May 2016

We are still continuing to engage the children in lots of learning and fun as the year has progressed in the Beetlebugs room.

We are currently exploring shapes and engaging the children in various shape themed activities to progress their development, the children have shown a strong interest in the shape sorters and the shape jump obstacle course.

In the next few weeks we hope to explore the individual child and families so we will be requesting some things from home to help the children express this.

We have welcomed some new faces into the room from the Snugglepots and new children to the service who are settling in really well and making some real connections with friends and educators.

As the weather can be very unpredictable and is changing to the colder season we do encourage families to bring their child with a spare change of warmer clothes such as a thick jacket or jumper and beanie to allow the children to be warm and cosy during our outdoor play.
