Over the last few weeks our friends in the Kinder room have been on a journey exploring and learning through self-perception. They have gone from tracing their bodies, self-portraits, half-face portraits and now still life painting of a plant.
The goal here was to give the children an opportunity to observe a certain object and copy the main elements of it on paper. Children were asked to focus on details and colour coordinate their artwork according to what they see.
The plant merely acted as an inspirational tool, children were given the same colours but their different painting techniques and perceptions created their own unique masterpiece.
The end results speak for themselves, we are so truly taken back by the children’s art. Well done, we can’t wait to see where this takes their journey now.
