Today we had one of our parents come in to help coordinate an easter egg hunt with the children. He helped the children make their own personal baskets, decorate them, and assist in all the fun of hunting for various colours and sized eggs amongst the outdoor equipment and garden.
It was great to see the children observe the folding technique in constructing their own basket, as well as taking ownership of what they had created. We saw lots of excited children with smiles on their faces during the hunt, share their joy when finding eggs with their peers and educators, and also be thankful and grateful to Maxx and Izayahs father Christian who walked in the door with bags of eggs to share and aid in the Easter celebration and festivities!
Thank you again, Christian – you helped us in growing our community and collaboration in positive relationships bewteen the children, educators, and families.
