This morning while having free play and exploration in our room, Mia, Nicholas, Poppy and Emily were very interested in reading and looking at the books with Harjit, our educator. They were very enthused listening to Harjit talk about the animals, colours and shapes in the books the children had hold of. Whilst looking at the animal book, Harjit was also singing old McDonald had a farm and pointing to all the animals that came up in the book. The children thoroughly enjoyed this. Nicholas was bouncing and clapping as Harjit was singing and Poppy, Emily and Mia were smiling as they thoroughly enjoyed themselves. This is fantastic to observe the children interacting with their peers and building secure relationships with the educators in their room.
