Today we held a Kindergarten Class of 2016 reunion. It was so fantastic to see our 2016 graduates and hear their stories. They told the 2017 Kindergarten children about their experiences at school and what to expect: “Our teachers don’t play with us outside, only a few teachers are out on yard duty”, “we eat two times a day, one for recess and another for lunch”, “we have a very big library in primary school”, “there are toilets for boys and toilets for girls… they’re separated”, “primary school is a lot harder than Kinder, we do a lot of writing and a lot of numbers”. We created a big reunion painting to celebrate us coming together and being able to enjoy each other’s companies again.
The children also enjoyed celebratory cupcakes with their graduation photo on them and were provided with a Kool Kidz Class of 2016 t-shirt to commemorate their year at Kool Kidz Docklands.
We wish our 2016 Kindergarten children all the best for the rest of their primary school years and we hope to see them again real soon!
