Following up on an observation we had last week, the children in the Butterflies room were involved in mini pizza making. The children had the chance to select all of the ingredients they wanted to use as a room, they then took the order to the kitchen and we selected a day to make the pizzas.
When the children were getting ready to make the pizzas today they were looking at all of the ingredients and waited patiently until everything was set up. They were each given a pizza base that they then had the chance to cover in whatever toppings they wanted.
Some of the children’s voices from the experience are listed below:
Avika: ‘We are making pizzas to eat.’
Noreen: ‘I like mushrooms, they are really nice.’
Julian: ‘I’m going to make one for Mummy and Daddy’.
Harvey: ‘I get pizzas from the shop too’.
