Coloured Counters at Kool Kidz Docklands
A new experience was introduced to the children which was coloured connectors. The children created different sized towers and tried to stack as many as they could on top of each other before they fell down. While the children were building we encouraged them to count how many counters they were using as well as identify what colours they had in their buildings and towers.
The coloured connectors are small in size so the children really had to concentrate on stacking them together otherwise they wouldn’t connect and would fall straight on the table.
There were lots of laughs during this experience as so many of the coloured connectors went flying across the table, but the children were persistent and kept on trying to connect them.
