There is nothing more that the children in the Beetlebugs room like more, than to explore the garden outdoors! It was such a beautiful and sunny afternoon outside that we decided to explore the outdoors. The children put their shoes and jackets on after their rest/sleep time and began to explore and collect some natural items from our beautiful outdoor area. On our collection adventure we found, grass, autumn leaves, tan bark, flowers, sticks, pebbles, sand and mint from our herb garden. The children were so excited to collect their natural items. Afterwards we used some paint brushes and clear glue to stick our natural treasures onto paper. The Jitterbugs children also joined in on the fun. This experience encouraged a conversation about the types of items we found in our environment.
